Anwendungsgebiete: Canesten Extra ist ein Arzneimittel zur Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen (Mykosen) der Haut, verursacht durch Dermatophyten, Hefen, Schimmelpilze und andere, wie Malassezia furfur, sowie Erkrankungen durch Corynebacterium minutissimum. Diese können vorkommen z.B. in Form von: Mykosen der Füße (Fußpilz), zwischen Zehen und Fingern, am Nagelfalz (Paronychien) auch in Verbindung mit Nagelmykosen; Hauterkrankungen, die mit Canesten-empfindlichen Erregern zusätzlich infiziert sind (Superinfektion). Mykosen der Haut und Hautfalten, oberflächige Candidosen, Pityriasis versicolor (Kleienpilzflechte), Infektionen mit Corynebacterium minutissimum (Erythrasma).
